DOD #5

We are up to week #5 over at http://www.scrapz.biz/ We had to draw inspiration from this movie jacket,
And the criteria was:
Your layout must have a Christmas symbol clearly visible. You must include a 'stacked' element to symbolize the highrise office building. Your layout must feature the word 'hard' somewhere on your layout.
I was a bit worried about my number coming up this week, as i have died twice but lucky for me each time a person didn't upload so i was saved. For my first page I drew inspiration
From the Die Hard cover I used the colours red, black, white & Gold [for the twinkling lights]. I also added red alphas for one word like the cover Stacked elements=3 stacked banners Christmas symbols=stars, painted gold and attached with red wire Title= It’s really hard to make every shot perfect. You need to inject some fun, into a photo shoot.
For the next page
From the Die Hard cover I used the yellow, orange and white. Stacked elements= sticker, doilie & button, then I also added cotton & a pin Christmas Symbol= I used bows, but if this doesn’t cut it I added a reindeer. Title= Madeline getting ready for her Debutant ball. It’s not hard to look gorgeous, when your mother’s a makeup artist.
I really enjoyed creating both of these pages, so hopefully I will live to see another week. I will find out tomorrow

Amazing Race

Whilst on the "Amazing Race" at http://scrapbookingtop50.forumotion.net/ we were given a detour. For this detour we had to travel to a mystery foreign country and we didn't know the language! So the challange was to scrap a layout or a 3 card set with a foreign word in the title or subtitle to get you back in the race. I used the the french language and wrote "Que Cherches-tu which means "what are you looking for?' maddie was having a pic with a group of her friends and for her Deb, she wore "Chicken Fillets" she was amazed that she had a clevage.
Here is the full page.
Here is a look at the cluster. Our next destination is off to North America you also got the choice of three places to visit,[Canada,America & Hawaii} I chose to have a stop over in Canada.
The criteria to be include on your layout for this country are as follows: 1. Include a Large photo (bigger than 4x6)= large pic of Maddie & Renee 2. Use Leaves on your LO = leaves I made using my cricut & a leaf from the kit I brought 3. Incorporate movement down the page= tag that can be moved up & down i made this using a recycled prima package & added some emblies to it
Here is the page all complete.
I wonder where I will be next week
