My wallet lost some weight....

I was naughty yesterday I spent $180.00 dollars on scrappy things...I bought some new B plates for my cuttlebug a a set of long plates as well, slate glimmermist,modge podge, clear embossing powder, a pack of Create paper "Random", liquid pearls,black and white cardstock and some more pp. So after tea i created this page.

My sister Kirsty had some pics taken of her children, I loved all of her photos. So I stole some from fb and scrapped them.

Slow day today, in LO land..

Today I completed 2 Lo's and they were both about Eve, she really is becoming a focus for my scrapping. My sister is happy because i gave her an album for Christmas with Eve's pages so it will be full before too long.

My next page was from the sketch challenge over at Artistic Document. Kym set a sketch challenge, this is the sketch i had to work with

I had a lot of fun with this LO because I actually did some painting and I used glimmermist and my latest product liquid pearls {becoming a fav product}.I really like these 2 colours together.
After I completed these 2 Lo's I decided to go through my albums to reflect on what i have created over the years. Gee it's amazing how your style changes over the years, I cringed when I looked at my 1st few pages. After that I decided to clean out my paper rack, Shaylee's Girl Guides are going to be getting some paper.Well I better get back to my cleaning up.

It's amazing how much scrapping you can do in one day!

Today, I had a scrappy day and I completed a lot of things that I have wanted to do for awhile. I haven't been able to scrap for the last week and a half as we have been shearing. This is what i have achieved.
Over at http://soul-scrappers.ning.com/ I joined into the Negative sketch. I did a LO on Eve, i just love her little pig tails....not surprising, my kids always hide when i bring the camera out.

I joined in Terri's January challenge over at
http://www.artisticdocument.com/index.php/ the challenge was to create and make a book mark, I decided to make a book mark that slips on to the page.

I continued on my challenge to use lots of my scraps and my stash in the "Biggest Loser Challenge over at
http://www.scrapz.biz/<
I completed a few more missions.
Mission #6
To do some hand cutting & to use this on a Lo or a card. I decided to create a couple of cards, here's what i created.

Mission #7
Was to create some emblies, whilst using your punches, dies and embossing folders.
As i had recently purchased some Tim Holtz dies,I decided to tizzy up some of these to use on Lo's or cards.

Mission #8
To use the circle sketch again, but to add some stamping. i made another card for this challenge.

Mission #9
For this challenge you had to create a LO from a sketch and you also had to use 3 different alphas in the title.
For my Lo i did a picture of my BIL Winston with his cute little girl Eve on her 1st Birthday. Poor Eve had an ear infection on this day, so she doesn't look happy.

Mission #10
For this mission you had to alter some chipboard and then add it on to a Lo or a card.
I chose 2 create a couple of cards. For my 1st card {Hello} I sanded my chipboard added some ribbon and some ribbons.
For card #2, I sanded the emblie, I added some liquid pearls, added a eyelet and a chain.

This is what I have achieved today, but the worst thing is i now have a 'MONSTER' mess to clean up. I still have a few LO's that I would like to complete over the next week because as of Friday I am back at work. :(

Biggest Loser Challenge....

I have joined in the Biggest Loser challenge over at http://www.scrapz.biz/ the mission is to clean up and reorganise your scrap area and your stash, whilst on this journey you are also given some challenges to do. I completed 5 of the missions over the weekend. I have used up alot of my pp scraps and I have also reorganised my scrap area, which means I can actually find what I am looking for.
Mission #1
For this mission, you had to clean your desk and then produce a LO from a sketch that was provided and you had to use scraps from your stash. I used a picture of Eve for my inspiration.

Mission #2
For this mission you had to use card stock as a base and also use the sketch that was provided by Nati. I found inspiration from some pics that were taken when I went on Yr 9 camp. All the students had to go on the high wires, alot of the students were frightened of heights, I went up first to try and shame alot of the kids..It didn't work because alot of the kids stayed on the ground and wouldn't get off it..I was so proud of what I achieved and I wasn't scared at all.

Mission #3
This mission was to scraplift a LO and using at least 5 different pp. I drew inspiration from a LO that I did of my niece Maddie, her LO was titled "Model", this LO is featured on my blog. I really enjoyed doing this LO because I actually did a LO on myself, this is something I don't often do.

Mission#4

This challenge was to use a 4/5 different types of pp to create a patchwork background using a sketch.
I created my LO by using a picture taken at Eve's 1st Birthday. I really enjoyed using my cricut and using up some of my stash of scraps

Mission #5
Today's challenge was to create a LO using scrap paper and you also had to add a banner.
This is a LO of Eve she is on the sea saw, she loved every minute of it.

Time for an update..

As it's a New Year I decided to update my blog.. Gee it took me awhile to get it all alined.
I have been so busy of late as we started shearing on Wednesday, I have to cook for 10 people so it has eaten into my scrappy time. I have been cooking in all my spare time, i have tried some new slice recipes, the kids have loved them.
I am hoping that I may be able to scrap this weekend.

2012, A Scrappy New Year..

On the 1st of Janurary I think I got a bit excited and i did 4 LO's now I hope that I can keep this up over the year.
Last year I went to Roshi and Oliver's wedding, Roshi was married in a gorgeous white sari and then she changed into the most amazing pink dress. This LO was created for a the colour challenge over at http://www.artisticdocument.com/
. i used the new the paper and elements from kaiser.

I created this next LO for a challenge over at http://soul-scrappers.ning.com/. the challenge was to create a page using a page with a preprinted border. this is my nephew Baxter and my niece Eve. They love having cuddles together.

My next LO was for a Friday Night Challenge over at http://scraphappykat.blogspot.com/, you had to create a LO by getting inspiration from a picture of a storm. The colours were purple, pink, orange and a small amount of white. I don't normally use purple so i struggled for a little while

This Lo is from the base challenge at, we were given a base and then we had to add to it..I love this picture of Eve, it was taken at a Christmas in July function, she looked so cute

Off the Page....

I am on holidays at the moment, so i decided to dive in to my ever flowing stash and drag out some off the page items that were getting dusty. I decided to decorate the Kaiser bird cage first. I am really happy with the way that it turned out, now i need to buy a hook so that i can put it on my wall.
I bought this Kaiser shelf system ages ago, i just had to have it and I have never done anything with it. My sister asked me to make something for Eve for Christmas,so i decided to make and decorate the storage system so that she could put all her hair ties in. As Brooke has decorated Eve's room in red and she also loves owls i have incorprated these 2 elements in.. I hope she likes it..
I have a cupboard full of other OTP items, so its my goal to complete alot of these. My next project is to decorate a 7 Gypsies printerd tray that I have had in my stash for over 2 years.

I have put the bird cage on my wall and it looks great.

My sister was rapt when i gave her this storage system, she is going to use it to put all Eve's hair clips/ ties etc..

Cheryll's Santa Swap

I have been involved in a Santa swap since June, each month you had to send 2 gifts to your nominated person, I had Tracee sent me some amazing things.
I love Babushkas, and she made me the most amazing Babushka tabble runner and she sent me a pattern to make some Babushka lavender ladies. Tracee also, made me the most gorgeous Christmas Angel cushion {my kids have tried to pinch it already}. Tracee also sent me a gorgeous necklace with owls on it {i also like owls}. Tracee sent me 2 great crafty books, i cant wait to make somethings out of it whilst I am on holidays. I also recieved a cute stickynote book, a floral bookmark, a gorgeous clock with a bir clock that is going up in my scrap room. I also was lucky enough to also get some yummy smelling soaps, some funky green t-towels {my favourite colour} and I also got the most gorgeous angel that will be coming to work with me after the holidays..
i was trully spoilt by Traccee and i want to thank Cheryll mfor running this amazing swap, check out my goodies

I have been busy doing a bit of scrapping lately and every time I scrap I tend to be doing a LO on my gorgeous niece Eve.

This LO was done for A CHALLENGE OVER AT SOUL SCRAP...I love how this LO came together.

This LO is the last challenge in 'Around the World in 80 Days'. We had to make a paper doll and incorporate it on to our LO. I really like the way this LO came together. We were only allowed to use the colour black, white & cream the style was steam punk and we had to use architectural pieces on this LO as well

For this Lo we had to use game elements..These pictures were of Eve she had just won the Melbourne Cup sweep at Brooke's work

Friendship

I have been involved in a friendship swap, you had to send a person that was matched up to you some gifts that corresponded to the letters of Friends. I love the song from sound of music, the one that sings about brown paper parcels tied up with string, So I wrapped all my gifts in brown paper and tied them with string and added either some Flowers of a doiley on the parcel and then added a tag.
For the letter F, I sent:(fat 1/4)
Fat quaters in the shades of pink and some cotton and thread to match.

For the letter R, I sent: (Relax)
A green cup and saucer, because Cheryll said she liked this colour and 3 varities of tea for her to drink.

For the letter I, I sent: (Indulge)
Chocolate as Cheryl said that she loves her chockies

For the letter E, I sent: (Embrodiery)
As Cheryll, mentioned she loves to embroid so I sent her a case with some cottons and also an embroidery kit.

For the letter N, I sent: (Notes & Nasal)
I bought Cheryll a breast cancer pen, as it's Breast cancer month and a note pad in her fav colour green. I also bought some lovely hankies, one has teapots on it and the other one has a C embroded on it.

For the letter D, I sent: (Draw liners)
These drawliners, smelt beautiful

For the letter S, I sent: Something for you
A love rose scented hand cream & body lotion

I recieved a lovely email from Cheryll saying that she loved all my gifts..
I was also blown away by the amazing gifts that Cheryll sent me

festive decorations (tree ornament,door hanger & gift bags)..
R = red fabric, red thread,red cotton & red buttons....Now I need to get creative
I = inspirational patterns & indulge in some chocolates...I will be making this bag
E = embroidered hand towel and face washer...these are gorgeous
N = necklace, notepad and nail shapers (These were all in my fav colour, cheryll likes the same colour too) ...
D = drop your shoes into these bags...These bags were beautiful
S = scrapbooking stuff (Maree's other hobby ) ...Gotta love scrappy stuff

Last day of Holidays

Today is the last day of holidays for me, I suppose it is only for a little while as it will soon be Christmas holidays. I love my job, working with kids and the added bonus of school holidays. I so need to still do a bit more scrapping, so after I get home from gym this afternoon I will be a scrapping.. Have a great day everyone!!!!

Week 3 Istanbul

Last week at Artistic Document we flew to Istanbul "Turkey" and prior to the challenge we had to pick a chipboard shape, I chose a circle.And then 3 days later we were given the criteria for this challenge:
Technique: Embossing of the stamped variety
Criteria:
1.. In this LO you must use a chipboard shape { circle,square diamond etc } in a repeat pattern to form a type of tile effect.
2.. Flourishes
3.. at least 5 different colours in your PPS and embellies, PLUS whatever amounts of black and white you need to use.
And we also had to use our chosen stamp on the LO

We were given another mini challenge on the lead up to week 4.
Your Mini challenge is to doodle a tag ...and this tag must be used on a LO in the competition ....So at some stage I will have to use this tag

Location, Location

Over at http://www.scrapz.biz/the-buzz, they have been running a challenge by the name of Location, Location each week you were given a location and some criterias to produce a LO.
Week 1 In my shopping Trolley, on your LO you needed to take a picture of what was in your trolley/basket and add a docket, use the words trolley/basket and a tag.

Week 2What's in your wardrobe, on you LO you needed to add: material, stitching, button and a peg.

Week 3What's on your plate on your LO you needed to add: eating utensil, recycled food packing and journal 30 words.

Week 4Inside your car on your LO you needed to add: 2 or more pics, a car a map of some sort.

Week 5What's in your handbag on your LO you needed to add; something from your handbag, something shinny, credit card/gift card

Week 6Favourite TV show on your LO you needed to add a picture of Favourite show, a TV screen, TV program clipping and a clock

Week 7 Scrap Room, you needed to add: an item from your desk, scrappy product that was 12 months old and you needed to follow a sketch

Week 8Junk draw on the final LO you needed to take a picture of a junk draw, use the word junk, to use something on your LO that pulls out and you also needed to add something from your draw.

This challenge has now finished, i have really enjoyed doing this challenge, I never would of thought to take these pictures..

Around the world in 80 days.

Over at http://www.artisticdocument.com/index.php they are running a competion for the next 8 weeks, that has the theme of 'Around the World in 80 days'
the first stop is in London England. The Technique for week one is Steampunk and the requirements are:
1. Pick a stamp and use on every project through the comp.
2. Grunge
3. metal
4. distress
5. clockface or timepiece
I have used all these elements on my page. The stamp I chose is from the Kaiser range'Pack your Bags'

So each week I will have to find away to add this stamp. This week I embossed it in gold.
My photo for this LO is from a wedding that my hubby and I recently attended. Nifty would not co-operate and so the photo is a nice one of me and a crazy one of him. Well guess what I scrapped it, here is my finished LO.

I can't wait to see what is in store for us next week, or will it be sooner than I think as we also have to do some surprise mini challenges.

I have been so slack of late, I haven't updated my Blog for over 2 months. Life has just got so busy, that I haven't been able to scrap. I am currently knitting a blanket for http://knitonesaveone.wordpress.com we are doing this at school. If you have any spare wool at home and you love to knit. I am so going to do a lot of craft things in the next two weeks as I am on school holidays and I don't think I have scrapped since the last school holidays.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there, I hope you get time to put your feet up today and relax a little.
Well the girls made me brekky today, chocolate chip pancakes. They were different!! I ate them and, I haven't croaked [lol]. The girls gave me a lovely grey cardigan, some choccies and Shaylee made me an album at girl guides.
So what am I up to today, I need to be at a netball clinic at 10.00 for the two eldest girls and then Ia m going to take my parents out for lunch and then do a bit of shopping and then I will go and see the mother in law and then home for tea..Possibly get takeaway..

Easter Scrapps..

Over the Easter break I decided to catch up on some challenges. I started first with
http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com/ You had to do scrap a LO using their sketch provided and you also had to journal about why you chose this photo. I scrapped a picture of my son Jay and I on my wedding day I so love this photo.
Here is what the finished LO looks like.

I then worked on the two April sketches from http://stucksketches.blogspot.com I loved these two sketches, they were easy to work with and I really like the finished product.

This is the first sketch, these are my sister Kirsty's children. I love the faces that they are all pulling whilst they are eating their icecream.

The next LO is about Baxter "One tough kid" and that he is. He's currently in a wheel chair and he's legs are in plaster, but that's no bothering him. Well not that he shows it. He still has a smile on his face. When I was recently at Spotlight I saw this new kaiser paper and I knew it would be perfect to use on Baxter's page.
My last and final LO is on Eve once again. I love this picture with her and her dummy. Gee she loves her dummy, but I think most kids at 6 months do as well.

This morning I went and watched my girls march in the ANZAC march in my home town of Bealiba, I was so proud of my girls. I took some pictures,so I hope to achieve some more scrapping today if the kids co-operate. I hope you all have a nice ANZAC day and remember the fallen soldiers.

I had a heap of photos that I wanted to scrap, so today I scrapped 4 LO's. The first one is from a kit that I won from Scrappykat...Lexie sent me this kit, it was so much fun to work with and it put me out of my comfort zone as i wouldn't normally scrap with these colours.. But I really like what I scrapped, thanks Lexie for this challenge.

Eve having fun in her bath, she really loves her bath time.

This LO is of Baxter and Eve.. Eve went to see Baxter in hospital whilst he's in his springs and slings, as he has Perthies disease that affects his hips..He's now in a broom stick cast and in a wheel chair. This has not let him down as he's still smiling.. He's such a brave boy. This LO is for a challenge at "Scrapbiz", you had to have weaving on your LO.. I wove the circle and I hand stitched around it.. I really like the way it finished up.

This LO is for the Friday night sketch challenge at "Scrappycat".. I am really enjoying doing sketches at the moment. Brooke, Winnie and Eve are also photogenic that's hard not too scrap them.

Eve is such a dribble puss, it wont be long and I will be doing LO's with her having teeth. This LO is for a sketch challenge at "Scrapbiz" I love the colours that I have chosen they all tie in together.
I have also been really good today, as I have cleaned up my mess as I have gone along. I may even try to get another LO finished tonight.

Loving Holidays, I can get creative...

As it's my second day of the holidays I thought I would do a bit of scrapping, I finished up doing 4 Layouts' so as you can imagine I now have a big mess. Well now the big question is do I clean it up or keep scrapping?

Here is a LO from http://scraphappykat.blogspot.com/, they put up a step by step challenge,it was so easy and I love the end result. This challenge was all about negative space, I will definately be doing more layouts with this theme. I like the minimal look.

Here is the challenge from http://artasticchallengeblog.blogspot.com/ you had to produce a LO from a painting of "Autumn Wonder' by Debbie Adams. This is Immie my niece in a fairy costume, looking real cute. This photo was taken for I do I do bridal magazine, Immie was a flowergirl in one of the bridal parties. She had a wonderful day as they had a picinic theme and she got to eat lots of lollies. this was all done in the name of fashion.

Here is Baxter my nephew looking like a real cool dude, this LO is from www.scrapz.biz/ this is the blind scrap. baxter, id such a cool dude he loves to dress trendy, he especially loves these hats.

This LO is from the sketch over at www.scrapz.biz This is of my darling niece Maddie, she looks like a model in this shot. My sister Melinda works for a bridal mag and one of the photographers took some shots of her family. The photographer got some great shots of the family.

Gods Angel "Ryelyn"

My darling Godson rang me yesterday to tell me that his darling son Ryelyn had passed away in his sleep. It broke my heart to hear the news and to hear the pain in his voice. I just don't know how you can get over something like this. Today I created a canvas and I also made an album for Ben and Calesha to celebrate the life of their child Ryelyn Michael John Wilson.

My Little Babushka Girl...

Over at http://www.artisticdocument.com/index.php For April Terri has set a challenge to use up some of your chippie alphas[and don't we all have a lot of these floating around in our stash]. First of all I glued all the chippie alphas on to some black cs and then when that dried I painted the page in black paint. I gave the page a couple of coats of the paint and when it dried, I painted gel medium over it too give it a shine.
After that was all finished, I started to create my LO. Yet again the topic was Eve, she is such a cutie, how could you not use her as your topic.

Now this is definitely the last LO for the day as I have a huge mess to clean up, this is the worst part of scrapbooking.

This LO is from the Sketch challenge also from Challenge Heaven. This is Baxter little sister Imogen, she looks so cute in her gorgeous pink dress and he amazing hairdo. My sister Kirsty, really should of became a hairdresser as she has such a flair with hair.

Blind Scrap

I completed this blind scrap over at http://www.scrapz.biz/.I came across this site last week when I was at home. I was looking for a kit to purchase. I purchased the March kit I was rapt with all the goodies that came in the pack and it was only $30.00. I now need to create some LO's out of this pack. The pack for April is really good as well, think I will be purchasing this as well.

I was surfing the net today and I stumbled across this blog http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com/ with there challenge you have to include your handwriting on your LO and it the length of your hand writing needs to be 25 words or more. As I struggle to include handwriting on my LO's I decided I would give this challenge a go. This is how I interpreted the sketch and I didn't struggle as much as I thought I would with including my handwriting on my LO. Eve is the highlight of my LO yet again.. I have decided to make a 12x12 album for Brooke and then each year I can add more LO's to it.

For the last 2 weeks I have sick with whopping cough, so whilst I have had time off work I have done a bit of scrapping. I think I have found my mojo, I have really enjoyed doing some scrapping. I really need to put more time away for myself and scrap more regularly.

This LO comes from doing the sketch at "http://scraphappykat.blogspot.com" , My niece Eve is becoming a feature for most of my scrapping of late. My sister Brooke keeps putting these photos on FB and I keep down loading them and using them on my LO's. How could you not scrap such a cutiepie.

This LO is from the March Cybercrop, blind scrap. Marie held this challenge, the LO has a real simple design, but it looks amazing. I was lucky enough to win this challenge, the colours all blended in together to make the LO stand out.

This is a picture of Jacana and her friend Kirsten,I took it before we went too a friends 40th birthday. The girls looked gorgeous all dressed up.

I hand to down load Jacana's pictures onto my computer, I loved these pictures of her joking around with the glasses. So like any scrapper I had to put them on a LO.

When we were on holidays in QLD last year the girls cracked it as I took too many picture of them. I love these photos of there attitude..

Circle Journals.....

Over at Artistic Document Kym has organised a Circle Journal, there are 9 of us in the CJ. Kym has done it a bit differently than other CJ's that I have been involved in. Instead of sending the whole album to one person and then it moves on we all had to send out our tags and pages to each person and then send it back to them when it's finished. This way you will be getting back pages one at a time and then the possibility of the book wont get lost, we have until June to have all these completed. I have completed 4 of the 9 CJ's, I still have another 5 to do and one of these is mine. I still haven't done my CJ cover or page yet. My Circle Journal is about "What you collect". I collect Babushka Dolls, so that's what my page is going to be on. Here are some of the pages that i have done already.
Sharon's CJ was based on a favorite song and what memory it held for you and you could use what ever colour scheme that you liked. I chose my wedding song "We've only just Belong by The Carpenters" I really like the way that this page came together and I liked the neutral colours that I used, it really complemented my wedding photo.

Lara's CJ was a recipe book. Lara has just update her kitchen in the colours red, black and white so the CJ had to be in the same colour scheme, Lara also supplied a tag that had to be decorated in the same colours as the CJ. The recipes that I chose were a lemon tart and chocolate Florentines.

Judi's CJ was to do a double LO on your favorite thing and the colours were to be neutral and the pages had to be shabby chic, she also supplied a tag to decorate. I did my LO's on my husbands grandparents 8 day clock that they were given on their wedding day and the other page is a tea set that I bought at a garage sale. My Nan had a tea set like this and when I was a little girl I always admired it.

Sim's CJ was to do a page on something that your mother never told you and the criteria was to use the tag provide and a piece of pp[the orange and teal paper]and to also decorate a tag and the envelope to put the tag inside, I used this on the page under some pp and I also used the pp on the LO and on the tag. I really enjoyed doing this page. My page was about how my mother never told me how it hurts when you break your heart.

Jody's CJ was about positive affirmations and she also asked that the colours be natural and not bold colours. She also provide a tag for me to decorate in the same colours used for the pages As I love Nelson Mandala, I had to find one of his quotes, I found the other quote on Google and as I had just bought some chipboard fences, I just had to use this quote.

Stay tuned as I hope to complete the rest of the CJ's shortly. I really need to start my book.

Jane's 21st album...

Last year I made an A-Z album for my son Jay's 21st, one of is friends Jay loved it so she asked if I could make one for her as well.

AS I was making this for a girl I decided to decorate a case that had been sitting in my stash for quiet some time.

This is the front cover of Jane's album, I made the inside pages 6x6 and I put them in to protective covers. Here are three pages that are in the mini album.

Jane was completely rapt with this album and I loved putting it together.

This LO is from Megan's blind scrap.. I am unsure if this is how it is meant to be, but I like it!! This is a picture of my niece Eve and her Auntie Roshi.
I really enjoyed doing this scrapbooking so I have made a promise to myself to keep doing this on a more regular basis.

New Design..

As it is nearly the end of 2010 I thought I would be good to update my Blog and give it a make over. I really love Babushka Dolls, I really got excited when I found this background over at shabby blogs.com. Now that I have tissyed up my Blog I really need to update it on a regular basis.
Yesterday I made a few more Babushka dolls and some small birds, they are really cute.
My girls have pinched some of my birds already. I will take some pictures and update them when I get back from the gym this afternoon.

Santa's helper..

It has been so long since I have actually put something up on my blog. I have been so slack in this department. Well this morning I felt like one of Santa's helpers as I made a few toys. I made a couple of owls. I really like the way these have turned out.

I love babushka dolls and when I was buying material for my owls I found a babushka pattern, so I had to buy it. I made two of these, they were really easy to make. I know want to make a few different sizes like a real babushka doll.

There is only 1 more sleep till Santa. My kids are not really excited this year, so it doesn't really feel like Christmas.
I also did some baking today I made some little plum puddings, cherry ripe balls, peppermint balls, caramel balls, meringues, rum balls and white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. So Santa will get a nice plate of food tonight.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Christmas.

When we were at dream World we missed the bus that took us back to our apartment, so we had 2 hours to kill. The rain started to fall so we had to find some shelter, we found it in an old fashioned camera house. We decided to have some family snaps taken. The girls wanted them done, but when they saw the costumes they stared to crack it..Especially Cassidy as she is so comfortable in a pair of shorts/trackies and a t shirt. She was not excited that she had to wear a skirt and bustier. Here is how the pictures came out.

I have been so slack over the last two months. I was just looking at some of my friends Blogs and I remembered that I hadn't updated for so long, I have recently returned from a holiday in QLD. I went with hubby and the girls, it was amazing. The weather was great in the first week, but unfortunately during the second week there was rain about, but not enough to dampen our spirits.
We stayed at Broad beach, the apartment was so central, the restaurants were just a 3 minute walk. We ate out a few nights, which was nice as we don't do that when we are home. We went to all the theme parks the kids thought that Movie World was the best they loved the Superman ride. I wasn't able to go on the rides as my neck and shoulder are out at the moment, which annoyed me as I love scary rides.
All my children are dare devils, they went on all the rides. They weren't frightened by anything. My favourite park was Sea World, I loved the dolphin show and as a family we swam and snorkeled with friendly sharks, stingrays and with tropical fish.. It was an awesome experience.

This is the a picture of the shark, ray and fish pool that I swam in, I am so glad that the sharks were friendly..

I was mesmerised by this emu, he was eating the ochre of this mans arm.

This was 'Wipeout' at Dream World. The kids loved this ride so much.

The claw, was another ride that got a work out from my kids and hubby whilst we were at Dream World.

This was the first ride that they all went on at Movie World, they said that Batman was awesome but as the days progressed Batman was replaced by more scarier rides.
I know have a week left of my holidays so I am hoping that OI can get some scrapbooking done.. Wish me luck!

Grumpy pants..

Today I think I wore my grumpy pants to work. i tried to load some pics onto my external hard drive the other night and it wouldn't let me do it. So today I took it to the IT guy at work and he told me that it had died.. I have only had the thing since December.I have now lost everything as all my pics are on it..I didn't think to save them any where else.. I am totally pissed off..The upside is that it is still under warranty.. I am pissed as I hadn't done any of our pics from our Holiday in Sydney, all we have are the memories and no pics.. I took so many.. That is my dummy spit for the day for the day. Oh well I hope you have all had a better day.

Holidays Scrapbooking

Well I am so hopeless, i have tried to load up my LO into the new headings and I can't do it.. Gee I am hopeless when it comes to electronics..
Here are some of the LO's that I did for the July challenges over at challengeheaven.ning.com Pop over and check out the other challenges, that are on offer to do.
For this challenge you had to use the word "TOGETHER" this is a picture of my friends daughter Anna and her husband Matt on their wedding day. I chose the blue colours as it was the colour that the bridesmaids wore. Anna looked gorgeous on her wedding day.

This LO was done for the colour challenge, the criterias are to use the colours brown and green and to incorporate a butterfly somewhere on the LO.. I did my LO on my son Jay and his gorgeous girlfriend Caitlyn. they were stealing a kiss when this photo was taken.

Here is my take on the sketch,I used my niece Immy as the subject.. she so loves getting her photo taken.

I have also done a challenge that was set over at,
www.artisticdocument.com So far I have done the colour challenge.. The colours that you had to use were; white, blue, black and green.

This is a picture of my sister Brooke and my cousin Kylie.
My last LO is from the challenge set over at kraft it up, the criteria is to use kraft paper as the base and you also have to use a minimum of 5 photos.. I have again used Immy as my subject.. Trying to take a photo of her is a challenge in itself, she loves to pull faces.

Holidays

where have the holidays gone? A week has flown by so quick, this time next week I will be back at work. So what have I achieved these holidays, besides housework.
*catching up with Ngaire and her mum and having Chinese for lunch and then off to the art Gallery.
*Gone to see Shrek 4 and the Scouts/Girl Guides Gang show in Melbourne
*Had kids over for sleep overs
Oh and of course I have done a little bit of scrap booking, I will post my pics under the scrapbooking banner..
Well I better go as I have to get the roast ready for tea tonight and I may even make golden syrup dumplings for dessert

This week I had a few days off as I had some surgery, I am all good. Because I had some time on my hands, I did some scrapbooking..I caught up on some of the photos that have been piling up.

This LO is from Boxing Day, we have a trivia day with my fathers brothers/sisters and their siblings. The theme of the day was reality TV. Here is John he is doing the Master chef invention test, he is eating red hot chilli peppers...

Here is a LO on my gorgeous niece Imogen, she is at the skate park with her brothers, she tries to keep up with them all the time.. My sister wanted a little girl, so that she could do her hair and be a little lady.. That's not Immy, she is a little Tom boy.. I so loved these photos, I knew I had to do a LO on these snaps.

Here is my beautiful cousin Sally with her gorgeous daughter Audrey on her wedding day.. I loved Sally's hairpiece it was amazing. My cousin Danielle made Sally's amazing jewelery. I love the Webster paper and of course I had to add some Prima flowers. i hope sally likes this page?

This LO is of my brother in law Denis and his son Callum. They are at the beach in Ocean Grove. I love the yellow crotched lace that I bought on Etsy. I have also used some of my new favourite tool "Glimmer mist" I even got out some eyelets, I have not used these for ages..

This Lo is of my cousins that went to Sally and John's wedding. I thought we all scrubbed up pretty well! black must have been the theme for the day, Kylie must of never got the email to say we were all wearing black lol.. She did look gorgeous in her blue dress though.

Here is Talia at the school swimming sports.. She went as a super hero.. She looked gorgeous. Her team won the sports and oh yeah my team came last as always.
Well this is what I have accomplished in a few short days. I am pleased with the LO but you should see the mess I have. I really need to go and clean it up, so I can possibly make another one this weekend

Playing catch up!

Well this week I have been home sick with tonsillitis and a viral infection, so the DR has given me a week off work. Until Wed/Thursday I had been to sick to scrap.
I just couldn't be bothered to scrap, so to me this means I am SICK.. I am now feeling a lot better, so I have played catch up by getting some of my scraping things that have been on the back burner,done.
I am involved in a round robin swap over at the title of this swap is friendship quotes. Everybody that is in this round robin has to have a signature friendship quote. I decided that my book would have all different shaped pages, I have included in my kit 2 chip board shaped pages, 2 plastic pages and an envelope page. I have finished all this album except the back cover as I only had one chipboard house page piece, but I have ordered one and I will attach it when it comes home.

Where has my mojo gone??? Recently I have not been able to scrap, I get all my papers out and some pictures and just stare at them.. So tonight I set myself a challenge I had to finish a LO or I had to give my friend Maria some of my new Prima flowers.. I completed a LO and a card so I am sorry Maria, I won't be sending you my Prima. I made the page for a challenge at Challenge Heaven. The criteria was to produce a LO that shared the colours orange, grey , black and it had to have ribbon on it.

Year 9 Camp

Last week I was lucky enough to go on year 9 camp. The theme of this camp is to Challenge yourselves. The activities on this camp were; mountain bike riding, archery, raft building, initiatives, the high ropes and the giant swing.
And yes I challenge myself I joined the kids by completing nearly all of the challenges, the only challenge that I didn't do was raft building.. I don't do dams, I like to be able to feel concrete under my feet when I am swimming.. And i also knew that it was going to be bloody freezing, the kids came out red as the water was that cold.

This is me doing Archery, I didn't hit a bullseye but, I was lucky enough to actually hit the board. I also hit balloons that were on the board.. The best thing was I didn't embarrass myself...

This is me climbing up to get on the high ropes that are 11 meters off the ground.. the instructor said to the kids, "Lets see if Gordo can do this", so I was first to go up. The kids were amazed that I would do it.

Here I am on the platform, waiting to walk out on the rope..The kids were amazed that I actually did it. I told them" I ain't no woos.

Here I am on the wire, it is an amazing feeling stepping out and walking on the wire. You are trying to walk and hang on to the top wire, whilst everything is shaking. This was so exhilarating.

In this picture I have just come down from the the giant swing. The swing is 21 meters off the ground. The kids have to pull you up to the top, I think I got whip lash going to the top as the kids ran so fast. The worst part of this activity is when you are up at the top you count to three and then you have to pull the rope. Once the rope is released you are off, flying through the air. This activity gives you a real adrenalin rush.
So I also challenged myself on this camp and I kept up with the year 9 students, I can't wait to do it all again next year..

Well today in my house the scrapping style has been shabby chic..My friend Maria has this amazing site called http://thescrapartistwithin.forummotion.com/index.htm I am learning to adapt to some shabby chic LO's.. I so love all the shabby paper that is on the market at the moment..Prima has the most amazing things from their papers to their flowers... I just need them..
Here is a circle journal that I did for Maria. Her subject was Marie Antoinette, her circle journal is so amazing. Maria has done such a beautiful job on this journal and the girls that have designed some pages have also done a fantastic job. Here is what I did with my pages.
This is my front page, I dedicated my pages to the fashion of the era.

This is my middle page I so love how the dresses of this era featured all the lace and how they were done up by tiny buttons or by being laced into them

On the last page is a page that I dedicated to Caroline Chilsolm.. You had to do a page on somebody that you would like to meet in history.
This next picture is a for a matchbox swap..Oops it's not a matchbox, it's a tobacco tin, so I suppose it is close. You had to have a king or queen on the box & then fill it up with some yummy things from your stash..This is a good way to clear some of your stash to make room for all the new things you buy..

Ann one of the kind ladies did a step by step tutorial to show you how to do a shabby LO. I did this yesterday and as it was ANZAC day I decide to do a page with my Pop in his uniform. Here he is with his family. My father is sitting on his knee this was the first time that he had seen my father. He was born whilst he was over in Egypt

Don't forget to take some time out of your day, to remember the fallen soldiers that died to make our country what it is today. My Pop went to war in Egypt, he never spoke about his time at war.. I wish he did I would love to be able to pass on his story..I have been lucky enough to be given all of his picture and his papers from the time that he served in the war.
I am off this morning to watch my daughter Shaylee march in the ANZAC march, she is marching with her Girl guides unit..I am so proud of her.. I will post some pictures later

Recently I have been doing some off the page items for some swaps..I really love to do OTP items. Iwas involved in a swap were you had to create something out of a large matchbox.. I was lucky enough to get my friend Ngaire, so the theme I chose was FRIENDSHIP.. I really enjoyed creating this for her.. I hope she likes it?? I am going to give it to on Thursday, as we are going to go and see Heidi Swapp on Friday.

My next OTP was meant to be a matchbox as well, but I had been given some tabacco tins, so I decided to use them instead.. I hope the girls are okay with this.. The theme is kings and queens..
The next OTP is a pair of Dorothy shoes from The Wizard of OZ.. I never made these shoes, they were a gift from my friend Toni Laws.. They are amazing... Thanks toni, for my awesome gift..

And she filled them as well, with all these goodies.

Relay for Life...

On Friday night I participated in the first Relay for Life in Maryborough, this event started at 6.00pm and went through till 11.00am on Saturday.. The school that I work at had a team in.. What a night it was.. The weather was not kind to us, as it rained all night, but thankful it was only light showers. My whole family joined the team, I was so proud to have my family by my side as we walked for friends and family that have been struck down by this dreaded disease.
It was such an emotional night, with each step I took I thought of my nephew Tony, my father in laws Jack and Colin, my beautiful Nan and Pa , my gorgeous friends Nette and Deb, Nanny Lovel, my gorgeous friends son Nicholas. I also did a lap for my online friends that have been struck down by this disease. I am glad that it rained that night because i had tears in my eyes for most of the night.
My goal was to complete 20 LAPS of the course, but when I passed that i thought well gee I can really do some more so my next goal was 50.. I got there and then i decided to have a little sleep as it was late I had a 2 hour nanny nap and I was off again. I think the nap was the undoing of me I woke up so sore.. My groin was hurting, my hips were screaming in pain, my legs were stiff and my feet were burning like fire..
I was now hobbling, I walked beside of my girlfriend Debbie that is a survivor of breast cancer, she said Maree go and sit for awhile and i told her that that the pain I was feeling was nothing compared to what she had been through.
So I kept on going in the end I completed 70 laps this was equal to 35 kms.. I was so proud of what i had achieved.. I finished at 9.00am Saturday because I had an appointment at the hairdressers as I had my cousin Sally's wedding.I then went home for a 2 hour sleep.. When I woke I had a look at my feet and I discovered that I had massive blisters on the balls of my feet..
Even though I feel like a train wreck, I am signing up again for next year.. if this event is held in your home town sign up and do yourself proud.. It is such a great feeling to walk in relay.

The holidays are nearly over for me, I have had so much fun actually having time to do some scrapping, well this will now come to a slow halt.. Because life gets busy again from working and running around with the kids.. So this is what I have been up to this week...
On the weekend I entered the Creative Scrappers blog challenge, all you had to do was pop over and look at the DT blogs and leave some love.. I was lucky enough to win a prize.. Can't wait for it to turn up in the post. Here are some LO's that i have done for some challenges over at .

For this challenge the colur scheme was to use a grey theme.. I have had this paper in my stash for years. It was one of my favourite pieces of paper..

Here is my gorgeous neice Imogen..The criteria was to use 3 pieces of paper and to do your journalling using stickers. It was great to use up some of my stickers from my stash.

I have two amazing girlfriends Maria and Ann they are both amazing Shabby Chic Girls.. I love too admire their work. They both have a blog were you to can see the amazing things they do. I so admire the girls Shabby Chic work, but when I try to do it, it sort of comes out Shabby Shit, So I have been practising & this is what I have made.. There must be something in the water, or I have hit my head.. Why am I saying this, well for two weekends I have actually done some scrapbooking.. I am knocking down the stack of photos that I have wanted to scrap for ages & I am also getting rid of some of my stash. Even though I am using things from my stash I still tend to buy more.. I think/ I know I have an addiction to scrappy things. I have actually entered a few different scrapbooking challenges, have done this to see if I can get some of my mojo back.. I think it is working.

This is my entry in to week 4 on the MMT challenge (DISNEY) over at Artistic Document. The criteria this week was to have a cartoon, doodling (not something I do alot of),cutwork, layers & bright colours.

This LO is a sketch from Mad about Scrappin. I enjoyed doing this LO.. I have had the background paper in my stash for awhile, I got it in a kit from WION.
The next four LO's are from challenges that I did over at Challenge Heaven

This LO was a word challenge you had to either use the word Mummy or Daddy & you had to include 4 pp and a blue title. I love this LO, the photo is of my cousin & her little boy Jiah and he really is saying "mummy I love you this much".

In this challenge you had to use pink, black, cream, buttons & brads. This is my beautiful God daughter Becky.. I love her dearly, I was there the day she was born I saw her take her first breath.

This was the number challenge you had to included 2 staples, 1 photo and a 3 word litle on your LO. This is of my sister Brooke and my nephew Baxter.. this photo was taken on Boxing day. they are very close and they are both very cheeky as you can tell by their grins.

Last but not least this LO was for the colour challenge, your were required to use blue, green, orange and ribbon.. I love this Lo of my sister in her sari with her sister in law Roshie and Roshies cousins..As it is school holidays I think I may even scrap some more in the morning..

This LO is my cousin Janelle and her little boy Jiah on his forth birthday, he had a pirate party.. They are both such photogenic people.

This is a LO for a rock and roll challenge perhaps it is now an OTP item. This is my friend Kirra,she looks so cool. I am so proud of this LO. I had so much fun using a record. I think I will do some more of these for myself. Now I better go and clean up my mess, because there is a big one.

I have been busy this weekend, over at Artitic Document they had their CC on last night so between last night and today I completed 5 of the 6 challenges. I only have to decorate a bra and I am finished. The CC was based around "Autum/Easter"..
Here is what I have done so far.

Here is my OTP, you had to make a book mark from an Easter picture and design it from that picture.

Terri had us making a card that had to be destressed, with flowers and in Autumn tonings.

You had to create a container to hold Easter eggs in, this is my take on the challenge.. I have had this tin sitting in my stash for years so I am glad to have finally found a use for it. I don't think I will let the kids put their eggs in it though.. I am sure I can find a use for it on my scrapbooking desk.

Here is my take on the next challenge you had to use Autumn tonings, buttons and leaves.. I did a picture of my kids up a tree.. I was glad to use up some scraps for this LO. I saw this technique in Scrapbboking Memories so I decided to give it a go.. I am pleased with the finished product.
The last criteria was to create an Easter LO using Autumn tonings, this LO is of my best friend Nette we meet up each Easter to have lunch at a local carnival..

Over at Artistic Document they are holding a "Musical bus ride challenge"each week you are challenged to do a musical challenge here are the 2 LO's I have done so far..
Week Two the criteria was "CLASSICAL"you had to included the following;black & white or cream and minimal touch of other colours, music sheet, pearls, rubons, and either a flourish/chandelier or some damask.. I choose a red chandelier..
I did a LO on my friend Ngaire and I at our Christmas breakup from 09'

Well the day has finally arrived, it is Jay's birthday party tonight.. I have tossed and turned most of the night hoping that I haven't forgot anything.. I need to write a speech, gee I hate public speaking, my tummy is churning just thinking about it..
It will be short and sweet. Jay's two mates have been told No smut, it's not the time or the place and there are some things that a mother just doesn't need to know.
Well I better go and make a jelly slice for tonight. I will be back on Monday to give a full report and post some pics of the happening event..I thing I will need a days rest!

Well today it was school sports at Highview as I am in Chisolm I had to wear had green clothes.. So what did I do last night to make a costume? Of course I looked in my scrapbooking crap and found some green flowers, I sewed them on to my clothes and put on a green wig and I was set for the day. As Talia and Jacana are in blue, I had to find some clothes for them as well.. So this is what we came up with...

Over at Artistic Document Marie has challenged us to write down a list of things that we would like to accomplish in the year 2010.. I sat down and had a think about this, and this is the list that I have come up with.. I hope that I can achieve this list and too be proud of what I have achieved throughout this year.. So here is the list

In the year 2010 I want to achieve this list, and to be honest in ticking it off.

Family
Manage my time more efficiently.
Be more patient with my children.
Give each of my children some individual time.
Spend more quality time with my husband.
Have more family outings.

Scrapbooking
This will possibly be the hardest thing for me; I really need to use the things in my stash and not to keep buying new stuff.
To complete 150+ Layouts for the year.
To complete many of the OTP items that are in my stash, before purchasing new ones.
To complete all the Challenges @ Artistic Document
As I have subscribed to WOIN monthly vintage kit, I need to use it and to upload into their gallery.
My blog is neglected, and as I am going to be scrapping more often, I will need to update it on a regular basis.
To learn new scrapbooking styles

Me
This is the year that I need to become more in tune with
my body, to be accountable of what I do too it! Especially in exercise and the food that goes into my body.
I must make the time to be more active, more consistent in the exercise regime that I choose to undertake.
Save some cash, so that by the end of the year and I will have the pergola, to unwind in with my family.
Take time out to smell the roses and not to be rushing around all the time.

If I wander away from this list can you please put me back on track..

Matchbox for Marie

Last night at Artistic Document they had their December CC, one of the challenges was to create a matchbox that could hang on a Christmas Tree and then it is to be given to another member.. My matchbox is for Marie, I know that her tree is made up of traditional colours, so I hope she likes what I have created for her.. I now just have to fill it with a few goodies..

Hubby and I took the girls to the Blue Mountains with our good friends "The Prices"..
We stayed in the mountains for five glorious days.. The weather was totally amazing as was the scenery.On the first day we all went for a walk as a group, but it was decided that the girls could take the kids for the rest of the the walk as there was many stairs. The walk was only meant to take 45 minutes. We did the walk and then we kept going.. By god there was soooooo many stairs, when we got to the top there was no sign posts as to where we were meant to go so we headed out and down the road and up and down gigantic hills..We walked for ages, when we came along some locals, they pointed us in to the right direction. They said that a lot of walkers got lost. We walked for another hour and we were still getting nowhere. So we asked another local how to get to where we needed to be. We were off again, by this time the kids were whinging as they where hot, tired and hungry. After another 30 minutes we found our holiday house.. The men thought it was a great joke. We spent our time doing lots of bush walks.. The kids had so much fun at the scenic park.. They had so much fun on the vertical train. they road it 22 times.. The attendants told to sit backwards, even us parents were coaxed into giving it a go.. Gee it hurt your neck.
The kids had a great time..I couldn't find any scrapbooking shops in the local area, so my hubby drove me into Penrith and we spent a little time and cash at shop called "scrapbook superstore'.. It wasn't too bad I spent $116.00 there.. It was nowhere as good as Camelot that I visited last year in SA.

On the Saturday we headed off to Sydney.. I totally fell in love with Sydney. The people in this town were so friendly and helpful. We went tot the Taronga zoo, it was unreal.. The girls got to feed and pat some of the animals. I also took a picture of my kids {there were 5 monkeys sitting around, just like my 5 kids Heeee}
Nifty and the girls climbed the Sydney Harbor bridge on the Monday, they all said it was totally awesome. Whilst they were on the bridge,the little girls and I went on a bus tour of the city. We had such a great day, we all met up for lunch and then we hopped on a ferry and went across to Manly. I bought an Aboriginal painting, I totally love their paintings.

What a year it has been for a 12 year old playing netball. My daughter Jacana played in her teams grand final on Saturday at Learmonth and they won 15-10. They played Skipton, they are a real nice bunch of girls. The team Jacana plays in {Natte Bealiba}were undefeated, which is a great result for these girls. these girls have been playing together for 4 years. It was not so long a go that they couldn't even shot a goal. I t took them 2 years to win a game. here are some pics from the day and the celebrations that night. Now I just have to scrap them.

Today I have played catch up with my scrapbooking. I have finally caught up on my A-Z album. I completed C-E.I also finished my twinchies for a swap at Artistic Document, these are a lot of fun. A couple of months a go we had to make 100 inchies in a particular colour I did 100 red ones and I also did 50 green ones. Now I have to clean up all the mess, and I have a big mess. I am not the cleanest scrapper!

I currently have in my possession two CJ's. the first one I have is from Hybrid Design and the owner is Terri, her topic was on "Music". I did my page on Pink and I also had to design a jacket for my CD of music.

The other CJ is also from Hybrid Design, this book belongs to Irene, the theme was "Favourite Vacation or Relaxation Destination". I had my page already to do on our holiday to Adelaide & then it just wouldn't come together so back to the computer I went to trawl through some more holiday snaps. I accidently hit the farm folder, as I was looking through it suddenly came to me to do a picture of the Canola, it is so beautiful when it is in flower and relaxing, it mesmerizes me.

I have recently lost my MOJO, so if anybody finds it please return it to me.. I have also been really busy with the kids, as they are in a local theater production. This weekend. they are doing the show Aladdin Jnr. I am so proud of what the kids have achieved, I will be one of those proud mums sitting up in the front row taking lots of snaps to scrap. All the costumes are so bright a cheery, except for a few of the kids that are towns people. My eldest daughter is one of these people and at 13 years of age she doesn't want to be a potato sack.
Back to the MOjo, I have seem to have lost it, in saying that I did sit up until 2am on Friday and Saturday night scrapping. I am really rapt in what I have done, I would love to share it but I can't as this project is for a challenge over at Artistic Document. the challenge is to try and stump the DT with a challenge, I thought Terri had stumped all the girls last week with her challenge but no the girls did an amazing job. I will post my work next week as there are to many prying girls, I don't want to give them a sneak peek...
I have to go as i am making white choc, macadamia and apricot bickies and they are ready to come out of the oven.

Holiday Scrapbooking

I only have until Sunday and then back to work I go back to work on Monday. Whilst I have been on holidays, I have had 3 scrappin' days with friends. We have had some fun, I think there was more yap than scrap. It was interesting,Jill my friend held a Stampin Up workshop for Ngaire, Maxine, Jacinda and myself although we all did the same LO and card the whole 4 where completely different. Jill and I scrapped on Tuesday and I made a hand bag album, I still need to put some finishing touches to it and I also made my ATC for a swap over at Artistic Document .The theme for the cards is LOVE. Here is the card that I made.
Also over at Artistic Document, we have had a matchbox swap, you had to decorate a matchbox,and then fill it up with goodies. This was a lot of fun to do, Toni received mine, here is the picture

I also finished a page for for Ann's July challenge, the requirements were red,black and white the LO must have flowers, a bird, buttons, handwriting and the LO must be about something you love.. I did my LO on Boxing Day when all the Boyd's {my father's family} get together.

I hope I can remember to update this on a regular basis.

Here are some recent Layouts that I have done for challenges at Hybrid Designs, I have recently made an OTP album the album is a Babushka Doll.. Ever since I was a little girl I have always wanted one of these.. One day I shall buy one myself.. I need to take some pictures of this album and then i'll post it on my blog.
Last week was weigh in for the Greatest Loser Challenge. I only lost 200 grams but I lost 10cm.. I was rapt with this.. At the start of the challenge it was all about loosing weight, now I am more interested in getting fit. I am so rapt because now I can run, that was something that I always struggled with. Tomorrow after school I am going to a boxercise class.

Boot Camp

Yesterday,the rain was very heavy in the morning..That didn't stop me from going to Boot camp. there was 26 other silly women and 1 male. We all put in 110%. Whilst I was running in the rain the girls were sitting in the car laughing at us slipping and sliding around in the mud. The things we do to try and get fit and lose weight. Photos were taken on this day so as soon as they are emailed to me I will post them,just to show you how much I looked like a drowned RAT.

This LO is for challenge #5 for the Hybrid Design "Survivor Challenge",we had to create a LO about family using only cardstock as our suppliies go wet..We had to go back to basic scrapbooking, we were able to use brads, paint, cotton etc.. This LO I called "Family Circle". This picture is of my cousins wedding {Janelle} to her hubby{Corbin} and their gorgeous son Jiah.. janelle sent me lots of pics of Jiah, so you will see alot of him over the next few weeks, in my pages..

A Day at the Races

Yesterday I went to the races in Echuca for my friends {Anna's} Hen's party.. The day was beautiful, all the girls frocked up and looked gorgeous, some even took the next step and wore facinators in their hair.
We placed some bets, we put in $5.00 each to give a total of $120. to play with, we came home with $60.00 to put on the bar so we thought that was ok!
Cindy had packed the most beautiful food for the day, I was real strong seen I am doing the "Greatest Loser Challenge". I took my own food and I only drank water, I was impressed with myself.
Went out for tea when we got back, I had grilled Barramundi and vege, I asked for no potato and definitely no chips.
I have a weigh into today, so shortly I am going to go and do a last minute workout..
