'Every picture tells a story'

Another page completed off the FB page 'Rediscover your Stash', I love most elements to do with scrapbooking except paint and sprays, they tend to have a mind of their own and never go the way I would like it to go. I got out of my comfort zone and added some on my page. This page is from the sketch in the gallery, it's about my beautiful friend Lee Phia (Lhonglie). I meet this beautiful man in Laos in 2017 and then returned with school children again to help rebuild a school. This photo is of when Lhonglie first saw me and we were reunited as friends.

Grow old with me

Having plenty of time up my sleeve has meant that I can scrap. I love the creative side of this but not the huge mess I make. I take longer to clean up than to create a page. I found this wonderful scrapbooking community on Facebook 'Rediscover your Stash'. They had this sketch on their page. I created my page around my eldest daughter Talia and her fiancee Lachie, they got engaged in December 2019. I love their smiles, it shows how much they adore each other.

Soul Scrappers 'Pick 3'

Being stuck in iso means, I am looking for something to do. I have once again found my happy place, I have reintroduced to myself to doing lots of scrapbooking.
Over at Soul Scrappers, they have a monthly challenge called 'pick 3', the challenge is to ;

Choose three or more items from the list below to include on your page, card, or OTP project.

1. Sports theme
2. Outdoor scene
3. Colors blue and white
4. Texture
5. Border
6. Brads
7. Sports embellishments

I chose to do a page on last year's' Stadium Stomp'. I chose the 3 elements that are underlined. Due to COVID-19 I don't think I will be running up and down the stairs of the MCG this year.

Soul Scrappers 'Random Word Challenge'

At Soul Scrappers, this month the 'Random Word Challenge'
is to create a Layout about the men in your life and use one of these attributes:
Humble
Fearless
Big Heated
Hard Working
Brilliant
Funny
that best describes him. I decided to do a page on my son Jay because he is always there when you need a hand. He has such a big heart and he is so kind and generous.
I really enjoyed creating this page, I used up lots of little pieces of scrap paper and I had fun fossicking through my stash to find the elements for this page.

April Challenge @ Scrap our Stash

The 1st challenge at http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/ is to get in touch with your feelings.

You have to choose one of these emojis and scrap how you are feeling.
I chose 'Happy'. My happy place is my family, I love my kids and their partners. This picture was taken on our farm for our 25rth wedding anniversary. I wanted to include all the kid's partners as no matter what happens in life, they are part of our family's history.

Here is a close up of my quote and my little cluster. I really enjoyed doing this page! I have had this paper & some of the embellishments sitting in my stash for years.

'Together we shine like the stars'

http://soul-scrappers.ning.com/photo/together-we-shine-like-the-stars?context=user

I am part of the "Soul Scrappers Community" and currently we are undergoing a 12-month challenge, 'Survivor'. Each month we are given instructions to follow this month we have to add this to our page
You must scrap a page with as many stars as you can possibly add! Stars can be any form, pp stars, cut out stars, wooden stars, plastic, handmade stars! This is a scrap free page! Anything goes! But I will be looking for the best Handmade STARS! So you can use any theme you want as long as you add millions (well not that many!!) of stars!
I chose to scrap a picture of my husband Nifty. This year in January we celebrated our 25th anniversary. On this our 25th year of marriage, we are to become grandparents and our eldest daughter Talia and her Fiance Lachie are to be married. Fingers crossed the COVID-19 virus doesn't stop this from happening.
